This lightweight Shires Highlander Plus Standard Neck Turnout Sheet (0g Lite) keeps your horse dry and comfortable when the weather turns warm and wet. Balancing optimum strength-to-weight ratio 1200 denier outer with a ripstop weave to prevent the spread of small tears. Deep shoulder gussets and a full lining allow for easy movement without rubbing. This blanket features a ShireTex 1200 denier ripstop outer, adjustable chest straps, cross surcingles, integrated leg strap loops, and a tail flap.

Sizing

Using a soft measuring tape, measure your horse's Body Length from the center point of the chest, across the widest point of the shoulder, and to the center point of your horse’s rear, under the tail. This is a light weight turnout, intended to keep your horse dry while turned out.

Turnouts, blankets & sheets serve a variety of functions. Turnouts act as a waterproof insulator layer, helping to maintain condition in cold weather. Stable blankets are not waterproof and simply provide insulation for warmth. Other sheets (fly protection, coolers, competition, scrim, etc.) excel at a number of other functions.
