The Fly Guard Pro (By Shires) Zeb-Tek Fly Mask (Ears + Nose) mask uses zebra stripes to offer protection against bothersome flies. Fine mesh allows free flow of air and enables good visibility. The full face offers UV protection to the delicate nose area, as well helping prevent files from landing. Scientists' findings indicate that stripes prevent horse flies from making a controlled landing when up close.

This fly mask has 70%+ average UV blocking, helping to diminish the risk of sunburn and sun bleaching, with a minimum rating of  60+% for eye and nose mesh.

Using a soft measuring tape, measure your horse's head (in cm) and select the appropriate fly mask size from the chart below:

A: Around Mid-Face
B: Around Entire Throat (Behind the Ears)
C: From Poll (Between the Ears) to Mid Face

Fit Recommendation

Our Advice: This product fits TRUE TO SIZE. You should rely on your horse's "True Size" (measured above). If between sizes we recommend sizing up.

Some products run large and others small, which is why we offer our own fit recommendation. Bear in mind that every horse is different and that your measurement is a guide only. We carry many different styles to suit all shapes and sizes.

This is a FLY MASK, designed to protect your horse’s face, eyes, and ears from flies, insects, and the sun. Lightweight and breathable, it provides comfort without obstructing vision, keeping your horse irritation-free during warm weather.

Turnouts, blankets & sheets serve a variety of functions. Turnouts act as a waterproof insulator layer, helping to maintain condition in cold weather. Stable blankets are not waterproof and simply provide insulation for warmth. Other sheets (fly, cooler, competition, scrim, etc.) excel at a number of other functions.

Please be aware that conditions may vary in a short time span, and always ensure your horse is comfortable under the current conditions.

Washing Instructions

• Ensure all velcro is closed and clips/straps are attached prior to washing
  
• Hand wash cool with non-detergent soap
  
• Line dry / Air dry only away from a heat source
  
• Do NOT bleach
• Do NOT tumble dry
• Do NOT Iron
  

Storage Instructions

• Once dry, fold neatly into a breathable storage bag
• Store in a cool, dry place away from any moisture or damp areas, avoiding excessive heat and UV exposure
